Sections 13.3.2.1 and 13.3.6 of the Yukon First Nation Final Agreements allow for disputes over ownership of certain heritage resources found on traditional territory to be referred to the Yukon Heritage Resources Board for resolution. The YHRB has developed procedures to guide the Board in making determinations related to ownership of heritage resources referred to it under sections 13.3.2.1 and/or 13.3.6, in the event that it is called upon to do so.
